In this episode, we reflect on the key takeaways from the OHCHR workshop on Indigenous Peoples' representative institutions. We discuss the importance of being included in international meetings and  decision-making processes, as well as the role of non-indigenous allies in supporting Indigenous participation. We also delve into the need for recognition and respect for Indigenous rights and the potential for creating a platform for sharing resources among Indigenous communities.  Additionally, we explore the importance of preserving cultural  traditions and languages, and the role of technology in communication and information sharing. Plus, we highlight the need for intergenerational transfer of knowledge and skills and the importance of connecting with other Indigenous communities and traditions.
