094 | Telling The Marafenfen Community And Other Indigenous Peoples To Keep Going

My friends, today's episode is a special video message I recorded upon the request of the indigenous villagers from Marafenfen on the island of Aru in the south of Maluku. The villagers were applicants in the court case held on November 17, 2021  of the Marafenfen community vs. the provincial government of Indonesia and the Indonesian navy. After the unfavourable verdict of the Dobo District Court the villagers and indigenous communities nearby started to protest. In my message I highlighted my examination of the situation and the human rights and indigenous rights involved.
