034 | Kenneth Deer's Lessons Learned in the Indigenous Movement

Podcast, I'm bringing you another episode today, this one is with none other than Kenneth Deer, Mohawk, Kahnawake. From my early days at the Working Group on Indigenous Populations I immediately saw that Kenneth is someone people gravitate towards for guidance and wisdom. Over the years I have had the opportunity to observe his style, learn and work with him.

For full transparency, I admit that I tried to channel him when I had to take on the role of facilitating Indigenous Peoples' activities at some United Nations processes. 13 years after the UN Declaration I thought it would be a good time for us to sit down and talk a bit....well mostly it was me picking his brain.
