On today's episode I’m very glad that Minnie Degawan, Kankanay-Igorot from the Cordillera region in the Philippines had the time to join me. Minnie was super passionate about justice from a very early age. As she cannot imagine herself working for the government, she started very early working at the community level, was one of the Asia representatives during the negotiations on the UNDRIP at the international level, and transitioned to the nonprofit level where she is at right now as Director of the Indigenous and Traditional Peoples Program at Conservation International. Enjoy the episode and let me know what you think! Originally aired on: November 17. 2020.
